Support Free Mom Programs
We’re delighted to share that numerous campuses have either initiated their own Free Moms groups since the spring of 2023 or have plans to start in the near future. Existing active Free Moms Groups at other colleges and universities include App State, College of Charleston, UNCG, and JMU.
Established as a student organization in the spring of 2023, NCSU Free Moms maintains direct communication channels between the students representing the group and the university. If you’re interested in starting a Free Moms Group at your college or university, we encourage you to reach out to your institution and inquire about the steps to initiate a Free Moms Group on your campus.
While NCSU Free Moms holds no affiliation or responsibility for other campus Free Mom groups, we are more than happy to offer support in any way we can. This includes sharing insights about the organizational system that has proven to be successful for us. It’s important to note that simplicity is a key theme in our approach, allowing volunteers to contribute in ways that inspire them, whether it’s baking, visiting the campus, or offering words of encouragement to students.
